Custom work

Custom mandala art, made around your story.

A commission is simply a custom piece made to order. Share the occasion, the space, and any colours or symbols you already know; the studio will reply with a quote, timeline, and design direction before any work begins.

Every piece is quoted individually. No payment is taken through the website.

The process

Slow by design. Clear at every step.

From the first message to the final handover, you will know what happens next — including the quote, before any work begins.

01

A conversation

Share the occasion, the space, and any colours or symbols you have in mind. A short message is enough to begin.

02

A quote and direction

The studio replies with a clear quote, timeline, and design direction — palette, scale, symbols, and form — before any drawing begins.

03

The drawing

The mandala is drawn and painted by one hand. Progress is shared at key stages, with space for small refinements.

04

The handover

The finished work is documented, carefully packed, and shipped with care instructions.

What can be made

Custom mandala art for the spaces you live in.

Most custom pieces begin with one of these forms. They can be made for a meditation corner, a pooja room, an entryway, a table, a gift, or a room that needs a quieter focal point.

  • 01 Original mandala paintings and wall art
  • 02 Adiyogi, Mahadev, Buddha, and Om-inspired works
  • 03 Personalised mirrors with names or dates

  • 05 Mandala wall clocks
  • 06 Coasters and table sets
  • 07 Hand-painted journals and diaries

Spaces & occasions

Made for the way a room is used.

A commission can begin with a space, an occasion, or a colour you keep returning to. These are the places the work most often goes.

01

Entryways & hallways

Key holders, evil-eye hangings, and small mirrors for the first thing you see when you come home.

02

Pooja rooms & meditation corners

Om, Adiyogi, Mahadev, and Buddha-inspired works, made as a quiet focal point.

03

Living rooms & balconies

Large mandala paintings and spiritual works scaled for a wall that holds the room together.

04

Tables & everyday rituals

Coaster sets and small objects painted dot by dot, for coffee tables and dining spaces.

05

Gifts & new homes

Journals, coasters, key holders, and personalised mirrors for housewarmings, weddings, and thoughtful gifting.

06

Custom sets

Paired works and coordinated sets in a shared palette, made for one space or one person.

One artist

One pair of hands, from first line to final varnish.

House of Spirals is an independent, one-artist practice. Every commission is drawn and painted by the same hand — no team, no printers, no reproductions. The number of open commissions is kept small so each piece gets the attention it needs.

That also means the studio answers your messages directly, and the piece you discuss is the piece you receive.

Questions

A few things worth knowing.

What does a custom piece cost? +

Every piece is quoted individually based on size, detail, surface, and timeline. You receive a firm quote before work begins. Nothing is paid through the website.

What is the difference between a commission and a custom piece? +

Nothing. Both mean a piece made to order. 'Commission' is the art-world term; 'custom' is the everyday one.

How long does a custom piece take? +

Most pieces take between three and six weeks, depending on scale and complexity. A timeline is confirmed before the work begins.

Can I choose the colours and symbols? +

Yes. Palette, symbols, and composition are shaped together. The studio will guide you toward what will work best in the final piece.

Do you make personalised mirrors and key holders? +

Yes. Names, dates, and small personal details can be incorporated into mirrors and functional objects.

Can I request a quote without committing? +

Yes. A quote is simply a starting point. Nothing is confirmed, and no work begins, until you are happy with the direction and timeline.

Can you make coasters, journals, or a wall clock? +

Yes. Coasters, hand-painted journals and diaries, wall clocks, key holders, and evil-eye hangings can all be commissioned. Sets can be customised with your preferred colours and motifs.

Can I order a piece as a gift? +

Yes. Share the occasion and the date you need it by. Pieces can be made for housewarmings, weddings, festivals, and personal milestones; timelines are confirmed before work begins.

How is the work shipped? +

Works are packed carefully and shipped across India and worldwide with tracking. Shipping is quoted separately once the piece and destination are confirmed.
